Monster Hunter Rise: Here’s What Comes in Each Edition

Monster Hunter Rise is coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021 (see it on Amazon). The game will feature seamless open-world environments, with areas featuring more verticality than in previous entries. To help you scale the new heights, your character will be equipped with a Wirebug that functions like a grappling hook to fling you around.

You’re accompanied on your hunts by an adorable dog-like character called a Palamute. This furry friend helps you in combat and lets you hop on its back to ride quickly through the game world. In terms of the monsters you’ll encounter, it’s a mix of beasts from previous entries, like Arzuros, as well as new creatures like a giant bird called Aknosom, an amphibious creature called Tetranadon. The new flagship monster this time around is Magnamalo.

Monster Hunter Rise is available in three different editions and is up for preorder right now at a number of retailers. Read on for the details.
