With the success of Detective Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog – and the historic industrial efficiency of the live-action Resident Evil films – the choice to show Capcom’s Monster Hunter franchise right into a Hollywood motion flick is wanting smarter on a regular basis.
Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and starring Tony Jaa and Milla Jovovich, the film will probably be getting a promotional push at PAX East 2020 on Saturday, February 29th due to the discharge of two promotional posters which will probably be given away on the occasion, albeit in miniature kind (thanks, IGN).
The posters present Jovovich – who performs Lieutenant Artemis, a soldier from our world who finds herself trapped in an alternate dimension filled with monsters – and Jaa, a resident of that fantasy world expert in taking down mentioned beasts. Jovovich is brandishing a Big Jawblade whereas Jaa is holding the Nice Hunter’s Bow. Anderson has already said that all the weapons within the movie will probably be lifted instantly from the video games.
Will you be standing consistent with your popcorn when this arrives in cinemas on September 4th?
