The Switch Version Of Shantae And The Seven Sirens Has Been Delayed In Europe

If you’re located anywhere within Europe, Australia, or New Zealand – we’re sorry to say, but the Switch eShop version of Shantae And The Seven Sirens has experienced a last-minute delay.

Instead of a 28th May release, the game will now be arriving on 4th June (that’s next week). WayForward had no additional details to share about why the game has been delayed in these regions, but was happy to reassure other platforms/regions that everything was still on track:

European Switch owners: Due to reasons beyond our control, the launch date for Shantae and the Seven Sirens has been moved to June 4. Other platforms/regions, including Switch in North America, should remain unaffected. We apologize for the inconvenience! pic.twitter.com/8Kt45VZqgV— WayForward (@WayForward) May 26, 2020

WayForward was also asked by a fan if this would affect the physical release in any locations and reassured them there was nothing to be concerned about. And just to make it clear – the game is still arriving this week in the US.
